We’ve stayed at JW Marriott Cancun four years in a row, and while there are countless beautiful properties in Cancun and around the world, we choose this one because of the people. The consistency of the staff and the genuine, thoughtful service make it feel like coming home. I want to especially recognize Manuel at Bravio. He remembers our family, anticipates what our kids will eat, and always takes the extra step to make meals easy and enjoyable (parents understand how big that is!). His attention, kindness, and professionalism elevate every stay. Thank you to the entire team for another fantastic visit, and please acknowledge Manuel for the exemplary hospitality that keeps us returning year after year.

Best hotel in Cancun if you’re looking to avoid pool activities, loudspeakers, spring breakers, bachelorette parties etc etc…. This hotel offers exceptional service, food and relaxation. Excellent rooms with great mattress and pillows; sleep quality is outstanding. Pool layout is excellent; there’s a spot for everyone all the time and there’s also an adult pool for your convenience. Lots of restaurants that offer a variety of different cuisines. This hotel is in constant renovation and always improving areas of the hotel. Maintenance is outstanding. Spotless everywhere.

My recent stay at the JW Marriott had both highlights and drawbacks. The shining star was Club 91. The service here was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It really elevated parts of the experience. Unfortunately, the rest of the property didn’t match that same level. Front desk communication was inconsistent, leading to some frustrating interactions. Poolside service was also hit or miss at times attentive, but often slow or absent. The hotel itself is in need of significant renovations. While the location and some amenities still deliver, the wear and tear is noticeable and detracts from the luxury feel the brand promises. Overall, Club 91 made this stay memorable, but the inconsistencies in service and the aging facilities keep it below 5 stars. Definitely not a 5 star property.
