An exceptional stay at the JW Marriott Ice District! Our stay was top-tier from start to finish. The spacious, modern rooms featured incredibly comfy beds, and the evening turn-down service added a touch of hotel luxury. The valet parking team went above and beyond—leaving a handwritten note and bottled water when we left, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected detail. The location is unbeatable—direct indoor access to Rogers Place, which meant no need for jackets or boots before games or shows. Dining was another highlight: Kindred served some delicious Italian‑themed plates—fresh, flavorful, and welcome treat after a busy day downtown. The Alchemy speakeasy bar was a secret gem—moody, stylish, and serving expertly crafted cocktails. The lounge was just as impressive: perfectly cozy for a relaxed drink before heading out. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone attending events downtown—or just looking for a memorable luxury stay with hidden touches and delightful dining!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. This has to be the best hotel in the city. The self park was easy and yes, your half ton pickup truck will fit as long as it’s not lifted. Riza was amazing at the front desk at check in and check out. The other staff I interacted with were also very nice. I got a nice upgrade at check in and was granted a late check out too. The room was very comfortable all around and quiet. The view from my particular room was incredible especially at sunset and during the night hour. The executive lounge was also very accommodating and had a large selection during the dinner hours and the breakfast was even better in my opinion. I can’t wait to return here again and see more of the JW and its partners in the building. I highly recommend staying here even if it’s a small staycation like it was for me. Thanks to JW Marriott for an amazing experience and stay!

Outstanding experience for our family. We were upgraded to a wonderful suite. The hotel food was excellent. All staff were amazing, attentive and helpful. The housekeeping staff even brought our children mini robes, cake pops, colouring books, and other treats, without a separate request. Best hotel in Edmonton.
