JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa

Our stay at the JW Marriott Gold Coast was exceptional and exceeded expectations. As soon as we arrived, the service was amazing. We were welcomed by Chanel (same name as me), her friendliness immediately set the tone for our entire stay. The welcome butterfly pea drink was a nice and unexpected treat! ROOMS: Our room was nice, clean, and incredibly comfortable with a beautiful view. Nice plush towels and bedding. THE POOL: oh my goodness! There is a tropical saltwater LAGOON with little blue tropical fish!!! There also is a jacuzzi, a heated pool with a waterfall and waterslide. WIFI- Complimentary WiFi for Marriott members. Upon logging into WiFi half way through our stay, there is a prompt asking about our experience so far, my husband asked a question and they followed through going above and beyond making us feel valued and truly special. Thank you management/customer relations!! SERVICE: The turn-down service w/ aromatherapy spray, chocolates, and a light cleaning was so nice to return to at the end of our day. Amazing experiences from the entire hospitality team, from our first point of contact w/ Chanel to the helpful host Steven, the hosts and servers, our very kind housekeeper, and staff member who brought items up to our room, they truly made us feel welcome and gave us a memorable stay.

I will update the review in a few days to give a full assessment, but this is the initial stellar impression: Just checked in for a special father-son trip, and I’m already blown away! From the warm welcome to the flawless service, delicious food, and stunning views, every detail has been exceptional. Having stayed at many Marriott properties worldwide, this is easily one of the very best. From the moment we arrived, the genuine hospitality made us feel instantly at home. The check-in process was seamless, and every staff member has gone above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The attention to detail is remarkable — from the friendly greeting at the entrance, to the thoughtful service at every turn, to the incredible dining experiences. Our room offers a breathtaking view that perfectly sets the tone for a relaxing and unforgettable trip. The atmosphere is both tranquil and vibrant, and it’s clear the team here takes pride in creating extraordinary guest experiences. We still have four more days ahead, but if the first day is any indication, this will be a stay we will remember forever.

Lovely grand hotel though getting a tad dated. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it’s a large spread with a slight change of menu daily and great service. The external pool is quite unique in that they have aquatic fish you can swim with. Of course in winter it’s a little cold but nonetheless it was fun. No indoor pool. Great gym with proper equipment and there are some kids activities daily like sushi making class.
