JW Marriott Hotel Beijing Central

Had a great stay here. Location is perfect for exploring Beijing - 10 min by car/20-25 by bike to all the main sights. Slightly dated but still excellent facilities. The gym in particular was top-notch. Massive breakfast spread. Service is excellent too. Great upgrade (bonvoy platinum) to one of their balcony suites

Our family had a truly delightful stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Beijing Central. The hotel’s central location made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city, and it served as the perfect base for our Beijing adventures. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, offering us a much-needed haven after a day of sightseeing. The modern amenities and thoughtful touches made it feel like a luxurious retreat. One of the highlights of our stay was how wonderfully the staff treated us. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely went out of their way to make us feel welcome. As parents, we especially appreciated how kind and considerate they were with our daughter, making her feel special throughout our visit. It’s not just the location and comfort that stood out, but also the atmosphere created by the staff. It truly made our experience memorable and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Beijing, and we look forward to visiting again! Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable, central, and welcoming place to stay in Beijing.

The hotel entrance reflects the typical JW Marriott brand with an inviting layout, driveway for pick up and drop off and featuring a well-designed facade. Location is good as there are malls, restaurants and coffeeshops around the hotel. Just a bit of walking is required. The lobby is warm and inviting with a good use of lightning to create the effect. Spacious. Couple of art pieces around. The receptionist is friendly and knowledgeable. Check-in and Check-out was a brisk. Excellent customer service from lobby staff as well. The room’s furnishings and decor were clearly dated and in need for a retrofit and upgrade to stay modern. Bad experience as they upgrade me to a room that comes with a super noisy air conditioning. The staff that guided me to the room was visibly shocked when he opened the door. Spent 10-15 minutes waiting at the lift lobby waiting for the staff to come back with a new room key. No service recovery other than a lack of sincerity apology. Not even a soft drink for the wasted 10-15 minutes. Water pressure is bad. Simple test is to invert the shower head and turn on the water. A weak strength of water will come out for the shower head. Towels need to be replaced as some were really old. Love the slippers. Good quality. Comfortable to wear. It will keep your feet warm. If I return to stay, it is because of my status with the hotel and the location.
