I stayed at the hotel for a business travel. It met all the standards of JW Marriott. One thing that went above my expectations was kind and super-efficient staffs. Especially Raubin was great.
Brand new hotel in Central Changsha with unobstructed view of the city and a peek of the Xiang River. The executive lounge is nice and the breakfast buffet is not to miss.
Nice decor in a decent location, with very kind staff but the positives end there. I stay 50+ nights per year in Marriott properties and this is hands down the worst air conditioning I’ve EVER experienced in a hotel. It is impossible to get the temperature below 25°C (77°F) which is beyond unacceptable at this price point in one of the hottest/most humid cities in China. Maintenance even came up to “fix” the AC which did absolutely nothing. Platinum+ guests - executive lounge food is of extremely poor quality and there was not one dish that tasted decent. I absolutely hate to write a negative review but I cannot wait to check out of this inferno. Please book any other hotel in Changsha - this property is not up to JW Marriott standards.
