good service by eva. was a bit annoyed when she told us the previous hotel had not confirmed our checkout hours after we had left, so she could not check us in. she helped call them multiple times to resolve this. room was nice but a/c runs intermittently, affecting my sleep a lot, being the main downside. buffet breakfast was mid. i enjoyed the small, clean balcony though, as well as the shower.

I just reached the hotel and having a worst experience at this hour in night. No one at the entry to help you with the luggage. No bell boy. Being an elite gold member our family have to lug the luggage our self to lobby. No staff available. Finally a non English speaking personal arrives and doesn't understand the room we booked. I booked a premium ocean view room but had to do lot of translation to Finally get a room which faces big buildings instead of sea. No welcome drinks nothing at 1 a clock in night. The whole hotel just had two executive at reception . Now we are checked in a room of hotel's choice even though I paid for premium room. There is literally no sea which is shown on hotels website. So so disappointed that I chose this hotel for my vacations. My holidays are spoiled. No manager or a person here that we can talk to or discuss our problem. I do not recommend anyone to come to this hotel as no service at all. All my money is waste. I am stuck here with no staff. We are left to be on our own. Marriott group needs to look into this seriously. What the point being loyal to the group if this is the treatment as a member I am getting leave alone non members. I need someone from the hotel to connect asap for room number 815 and 831.

Worst Marriott hotel experience ever! I received message that my room was ready at noon. Went to check in at usual hotel check in time of 3pm. Did all the usual routine until after I swipe my credit card. The guy suddenly said the room is not ready and we have to wait a few minutes. We sat at lobby for 15min then the guy said the room is still not ready. He gave us a room key and said we can rest at a room until our room was ready. We arrived at a small standard room and sat that for almost an hour (already almost 4:30pm). I sense something was really wrong and called front desk. Not to my surprise they have absolutely no idea what was going on. I asked for the hotel manager and some lady called back. I can tell she still has no idea what was going on and I had to repeat the story again. After 10 minutes, finally someone came and brought us to a room that we have paid for. I am quite sure someone gave our room to someone else. I've never encountered that in any Marriott group hotels before. The room has a nice view, which we paid for. But the shower is mouldy. Next day morning we checked out heading to the airport. I asked the concierge guy to get us a taxi. My mandarin might not be native but I have worked with China clients for 20 years. That guy just completely ignore us. When we saw a taxi and went out to grab it, he chase us out and said we have to wait in line. It's 8am and the lobby was empty! Even the taxi guy said it's absurd. We got on the taxi and the driver said the concierge must want us to use his usual "dodgy taxi". I urge you not to book this hotel! There are many other choices at this area and I hope no one has to endure our bad experience. I didn't write this at the usual Marriott "how was your stay" email as I'm sure it goes back to the same people that ruin this hotel.
