JW Marriott Houston Downtown

I stayed at the JW Marriott Downtown Houston while I was in town to take the bar exam, and I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the experience—especially the kindness they showed to my mother, who uses a walker. The team went above and beyond to make her feel welcome and cared for. They offered her refreshments during her walks, held doors open for her, and checked in to ensure she was comfortable throughout our stay. The room was also spacious and accessible, which made a big difference for both of us. It’s rare to find such thoughtful, attentive service these days. Thank you for making a stressful week feel just a little bit easier for my family. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Houston—especially if you’re traveling with loved ones who may need a little extra care. — William G.

Enjoyed a few stays at this JW and the staff and service are remarkable. They make effort to make each stay, whether a special occasion or not, special. Special requests are handled timely. Room service is delicious and pretty quick. The restaurant and bar on property have good quality food and a great cocktail menu. The rooms are great quality but could use a light refresh soon, but they’re comfortable and have great amenities. Huge bonus that this JW has complimentary car service if available for a 5 mile radius! It’s wonderful.

So I went to the spa and indulged myself in there summer special and it was well worth it. Erika was a wonderful masseuse. She really messaged and relaxed all the kinks out. While I was there I had ordered the fish tacos. They were really good and the Chipotle sauce was just the right touch. It wasn’t too spicy as I don’t like spicy food. Jennifer was able to take care of me and I appreciate the customer service and hospitality of her and her staff. I hope to return soon!
