Big thank you to James, front desk manager, for going above and beyond for some issues we had at the hotel. As a lifetime platinum with over 1000 nights I must say James provided better and more personalized service than most hotels I've stayed at. Thanks again 🙏 Overall the hotel is nice but that said, the pool locker rooms could be better maintained - the showers in there smelled bad and didn't seem like they were cleaned properly
The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in is JW Marriott Jeju ✨💖🥹 Highly recommend staying here — you can enjoy the clear blue Jeju sea, stunning Korean-inspired interiors, and truly exceptional hospitality. They don’t make you stand and wait at check-in; instead, you can relax, enjoy ice cream with champagne, and they’ll come to you personally. The friendly staff carry your luggage to your room and explain every hotel feature one by one. They even use BVLGARI for shower gel, shampoo, and lotion 💎, plus there’s an onsen for the ultimate relaxation. You can join fun hotel activities like mini cooking classes or yoga, watch synchronized swimming right in front of your eyes, and so much more — such a luxurious experience! I was a little surprised (and amused 😂) to see a standalone Chanel shop inside the hotel LOL. I’d definitely come back here if I get the chance 💕
Beautiful setting and hotel, but it is a very sterile hotel without character. Everything closes very early, dinner over by 8, no real bar, but lots of beautiful rooftop spaces, but no bar or service to enjoy it. Rooms are very nice, but AC doesn't go below 72 degrees and with 97 degree weather outside its too warm. Dining options are limited. Pool is small. We stayed at the Marriot Shinwa world on Jeju too and thought it would be cheesy, but we much preferred that over JW. Those rooms were nice, had a huge pool, and many dinner options and shopping available. This stay has been a huge disappointment and with the hefty price, I would stay elsewhere. We also tried to change our stay to only 1 night and we have elite status, and they refused to budge on this. We wanted to go back to the other Marriot property on the island.
