We spent our honeymoon at the JW Marriott Maldives, and it was genuinely one of the most extraordinary experiences we've ever had. The setting is, of course, breathtaking — crystal-clear waters, beautifully designed villas, and everything you'd hope for in a luxury Maldivian escape. But what truly set this trip apart was the care and attention from the team. We were incredibly lucky to be looked after by Anastasia, who made our stay feel completely effortless and unforgettable. She anticipated every need before we even had to ask, and the thoughtful touches she arranged throughout our trip made it feel deeply personal and special. From start to finish, she went above and beyond — she’s truly exceptional, and we can’t thank her enough. On the day Anastasia was off, Janice stepped in and took wonderful care of us, ensuring everything continued to run smoothly and that we still felt completely supported and looked after. An Unforgettable Experience!! Our 7-night stay in the Duplex Overwater Villa was truly exceptional—it’s easily one of the best rooms I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. Spacious, comfortable and with breathtaking views, it was the perfect sanctuary for a relaxing getaway. The food at the hotel was nothing short of spectacular. Every meal we had was OUTSTANDING, from breakfast to dinner. The themed nights like Lobster Dinner on the beach and Thai Night are not to be missed—they’re an experience in themselves. There’s also a wide variety of options on the kids’ menu, which kept our little one happy and satisfied. A special mention to the Thai restaurant—absolutely delicious—and the cocktails made by Satyam were hands down the best I’ve ever had! When it comes to service, words don’t do justice. Every member of the team was incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It was such a personal touch when they remembered our names and greeted us with genuine smiles. My child was treated with such love and care, which made our experience even more special. A huge thank you to Gasim, Gordana from the Kids Club, Damcho from the Spa (do yourself a favor and book a massage with her!), Satyam at the Thai restaurant (his cocktails are a must-try!), Adam at breakfast (always so cheerful), Maazih at the Italian restaurant, and Chef Bir for making our Lobster Dinner truly memorable and customizing the menu to my preferences. The Kids Club deserves a special mention—it is hands down the best I’ve ever seen in the Maldives. Spacious, clean, and vibrant, it offers a variety of activities that kept our child engaged and excited to return every day. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, family-friendly getaway.
