This was my second stay at JW Marriott Mussoorie, and impressively, it surpassed my first experience. The property seems to have refined its already high standards. The stunning location and luxurious ambiance remain exceptional, but what stood out was the noticeable enhancement in service – staff seemed even more attentive and proactive. Our room was immaculate, the dining experiences were superb, and the overall sense of tranquility was perfect. Special mention to Roshan- the entertainment/ trek service conductor who I was pleasantly happy to see after 2019- still enthusiastically serving the guests and offering some amazing trek experiences.. Highly recommended for a truly elevated mountain getaway.
Great Property with views of the Himalayas in the distance. The daily tea ceremony with the live singing is not to be missed. Service is top notch. Food is awesome, however, I would not recommend the Teppingaki. For those familiar with Hibachi, this is sorely lacking and overpriced. I highly recommend the guided hike and other available activities. Rooms are nice, however, they stuck us in the room with the generator right outside the balcony for a 5-night stay.
The property is beautiful and well-maintained, with great potential for a peaceful getaway. However, our experience was affected by overcrowding across the board—breakfast, high tea, and even dinner. We had to skip one meal and head to the Indian restaurant, where service was also slow and outdoor seating wasn’t available. The staff did their best, but it’s clear that better management, more staff, and a larger kitchen are needed. Trekking activities were overpriced (₹3,000–₹5,000 per person), and there were limited options for adults—no library, a small overcrowded pool, and mostly child-focused activities.
