Just an incredible overall experience. The property is stunning and the amenities are top-tier, but what made this place stand out were the people. I’ve never experienced service of this level and I travel often. Every single person I came into contact with, from the housekeeping team to the towel attendant, to the bellman who helped us leave on our final day, was truly excellent at their jobs and sincerely kind. They connected with the guests in an authentic way, went above and beyond to meet our needs, and were knowledgeable about the area. They were great stewards of the Marriott brand and Arizona tourism. Thank you!
This property is spectacular. I was incredibly impressed from the moment I arrived. The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, and the patio was such a nice touch—perfect for relaxing. The food wasn't just delicious—it was truly a form of art. We also enjoyed the on-site activities and amenities, which added so much to the experience. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and professional. The resort truly lives up to its luxury reputation. That said, I do want to note one disappointment. While ordering at the pool, we weren’t aware that an automatic gratuity had already been added to the bill. We tipped generously in cash—only to later realize we had double-tipped nearly $40. When I asked for an itemized receipt and pointed this out, the server refused to return the money. That felt unacceptable at a place of this caliber. Aside from that experience, everything else was fantastic. I would definitely return—but next time I’ll be more cautious about the bills.
This was one of the best resorts that I have ever stayed at. We had a conference rate because we were here for business. I think the normal rate is a bit more. But oh my goodness what a beautiful resort. It’s very large, but not so large that you feel overwhelmed with walking. There are plenty of pools and recreation space. The desert botanical garden is just stunning. Loved the little swing there. The classes are beyond wonderful. All of the instructors were very friendly and helpful. I totally recommend getting a spa treatment and using the spa facilities for the day for free. The spa pool is very quiet and relaxing and there are no kids in that area. The spot is absolutely beautiful and includes steam rooms, hot tubs, and a bistro with lots of healthy yummy foods. Take time to walk through the beautiful gardens that the staff have worked so hard to maintain. A special shout out to Christina, one of the gardeners at the resort, and Lauren, yoga and sound healing guide. My experience at this resort was beyond compare and I cannot wait to go back someday.
