JW Marriott Phuket Resort and Spa

An exceptional stay at JW Marriott Phuket! We spent six nights here and everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spotless and spacious, the housekeeping team kept everything perfect, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The resort feels like a tropical paradise with lush gardens, pristine pools, and direct beach access. The breakfast and restaurants were top-notch, offering a mix of Thai and international dishes. Every corner of the property is designed for relaxation, and the service truly makes you feel at home. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Phuket – we can’t wait to come back!

Family holiday Stayed for 6 days and we really enjoyed our whole stay in this beautiful resort. We celebrated my daughter’s 3rd birthday and JW Marriott made her birthday extra special they even decorated our room with balloons, cake and a birthday card. The breakfast was awesome like they even have fresh fruits and I always get a fresh apple and carrot juice still being healthy while on vacation, there’s plenty of food options. Amenities like kids club, outdoor kids pool etc. the restaurants were really a great touch inside the resort. The staff were all friendly, caring and welcoming. Thanks to Oy who helped us booked our tour. The manager on duty May who assisted to move us to a new room since I have requested a quieter room for my daughter and even gave us a complimentary drinks. Hut and Minnie from the steakhouse restaurant who surprised my daughter with another birthday cake. It was really a great experience staying here in a family friendly resort. The front beach was really amazing unfortunately the current was strong during our stay. Just bring mosquito repellent and you’ll be fine. I will definitely recommend this resort.

My family have been regular guests of this hotel over the past few years. Although we know it is dated but we still decide to choose here for our vacation this Aug but we were so so sourly disappointed. We were make to wait for our rooms (3 rooms) and 2 rooms were not ready until past 5pm. They were quick to brush us off with free drinks vouchers and later food vouchers when we chased them for our rooms. I have asked them not to give us rooms next to the contraction and they say no it is not but my room is directly next to the contraction and the noise is real. The housekeeping is not great too, see the pics. For getting our rooms late, they arranged for late check out at 3pm and we had our room cards programmed but on check out day the reception called to chase out of our room at 1:30pm asking us to move to another room for the extension!!! We have to frantically pack cos we were given until 2pm to move. At this point I am furious and called for the GM, instead of coming down to meet us, he sent not even a manager to brush us off with a few sorties. We are very sure this is the last time we will be here and this is sad cos we had so many family memories here but crushed by this super bad experience. So no this is not a great hotel no more. I am one that writes more compliments than bad reviews but this just calls for it. I have a lot more to write if given more space and time but they are just not worth my trouble. I hope the GM will review this at the least and knowing he is doing a real bad job. It’s is negative star for me and my family.
