I’m disappointed to say there is a lot of room for improvement. The staff are friendly, but the elevator was not working. I was told bc of the weather, but looking at the reviews it seems this is very common. From the street it’s a long flight of stairs (esp with luggage) and then more stairs to get to the room. I saw a guest who needed a wheelchair take her time having to walk upstairs, and they are the shaky “floating” style. I felt uneasy as a full-size person walking down with heavy luggage. I hope management invests in infrastructure and linens for this property.

Since day one, they applied a misterious fee that we had to pay when the reservation had been done properly. Next the rooms are not maintained, they lack care. Even after asking for no cleanup in our room someone entered and stole some of our jewellry. Lastly, there was no pool or jacuzzi available and it is not near any of the touristic areas.

We did not have a good experience in this hotel. Even though it’s not an expensive hotel. There’s a few things you need to consider before you make a reservation: 1) The TV those not have any cable channel available and if you try to use Netflix there’s no internet connection in the TV. So you won’t be able to watch anything. 2) The A/C in room 107 those not work properly. So be ready for a hot night sleep. 3) The smell in all rooms is terrible. 4) In room 106 if you take a shower the water won’t go away. 5) The hotel those not have A/C in the common areas, so everywhere yo go it’s hot. 6) They offer breakfast. But the place is empty and no one comes to take your order. So we had to leave. The personal at the reception was polite and nice. I hope with all these comments. It will help the place to improve and for those guests who are planning to stay. Be aware of what you may have to encounter when you book the place. Check Residence Inn by Marriot Hotel Zone. That’s where I stayed the following days. Excellent hotel! You just have to pay about $600 pesos more per night. Just check the reviews!!! You won’t regret it.
