This place is a hidden gem. For only about $100 a night, we got a king sized bed, a massive (by japanese hotel standards) sized room, a rainfall shower with amazing pressure, and friendly service. Our room was exactly as pictured. We found it very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit cramped but not enough for us to really care. They provide shampoo, conditioner and body soap but they aren't the best quality. This hotel also provides slippers which were great and comfy. There is a refrigerator but no safe or iron if that matters to you. The hotel provides amenities like toothbrushes, razors, and hair ties on every floor. There is one wash and dry machine on every floor but it takes forever to dry laundry (like 4 hours for one load sadly). There is a coin laundromat down the corner though. You have to change your own towels out which we actually liked. Housekeeping only on every third day of your stay. The front desk all speak English and are friendly and helpful. The location is about ~10 minutes from a train station and an easy center base for activities to nearby temples or food. They also have luggage storage and do luggage forwarding. For the price, I would definitely stay here again.
A clean no nonsense hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Very modern contemporary style. Check in online in their app and you don’t even need to stop at the front desk. Nice bar in the lobby and help yourself to toiletries and towels by the elevator. Very reasonably priced as well!
We stayed at the Kabin for 4 nights. The room was very adequate to our needs and the staff was super nice. However, the wash-dryer machine didn't dry the clothes. The location was fine, although a bit of a walk from public transportation and from places to eat.
