Nestled in the breathtakingly beautiful valley of Swat, this hotel truly is a slice of heaven on earth. The hotel's architecture and design seamlessly blend with the natural surroundings, creating a sense of harmony and tranquility. My room had a stunning view of the surrounding mountains, and I felt like I was waking up in paradise every morning. The staff at Swat Serena Hotel were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every need. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was part of the family. The hotel's hospitality is truly exceptional, and it's clear that the staff take immense pride in their work. Under new management, this hotel offers notable comfort and good services. The rooms are comfortable, with reliable electricity and consistent internet connectivity. The air conditioning system works well, and the service is professional and attentive to guests. The hotel features a nice restaurant with a diverse buffet and a well-equipped gym for guests. Although prices are higher compared to other hotels in Kabul, the level of comfort and amenities justifies the cost. Important note: This hotel is no longer officially managed by the Serena Hotels Group, as the contract was terminated following recent administrative changes. Therefore, the name “Serena” is no longer officially associated with the property. Guests should be aware of this when booking, as management and service standards have changed from the previous Serena brand. Overall, it remains one of the more comfortable and secure options in Kabul, but travelers should check updated information about current conditions and services before planning their stay.

Stayed here for multiple weeks in June 2025 after the new ownership took over. The room is very comfortable, there is very reliable power and internet all the time, AC works and the service is excellent. The restaurant has a great buffet as well and there’s a nice gym. It’s quite a bit more expensive than other places in Kabul but much higher level of comfort.
