really enjoyed our stay- great value! the birds try to steal my breakfast when getting more juice but the staff helped and protected my plate. yes the weather in July not ideal as hardly ever sunny and hot but the view and the great hotel made up for it. we are happy to be back

Annie and Ploy are the best! Had an awesome time staying at Kacha Resort and a big part of that was thanks to Annie and Ploy. Whether it was by the pool or in the restaurant, they were always super friendly, helpful and kind. They were always smiling and made sure everything was spot-on every time we saw them. You could tell they genuinely cared about making our stay great. Absolute legends! Kacha is lucky to have them—can’t wait to come back!

The Kacha Resort is unfortunately a bit dated; this was our fourth visit over the years. During our stay, improvisations and minor repairs were being carried out everywhere. Unfortunately, we weren't informed when booking that work was being carried out at the sea-facing pool, and that it would be noisy, and that the hillside pool would be closed until the end of October. This hotel should be closed for a few months and completely renovated. Everything is old and worn, and constant minor repairs don't help to maintain standards. The staff are attentive, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast isn't what it used to be, but it's acceptable for a day or two. The coffee, however, is undrinkable; the three machines aren't maintained and all only produce black coffee. Cappuccino, cafe latte, or similar items haven't been available for a while, which is a drag. The room we booked was acceptable, although the air conditioning had stopped working. However, a solution was quickly found. All in all, the price/performance ratio was still at its limit, but only because we took advantage of the 50% Thai government offer. We won't book this hotel again until it's been renovated; there are now many new and modern hotels that can offer a lot more. We're flexible and took it in our stride. Despite everything, we had a great time and have now moved to another hotel on a different beach to enjoy a different location.
