Really nice place to stay in Kaikoura. Spacious room with a kitchenette and good bathroom. There is a laundry and drying machine available, 3 dollar per use. Each room has its own designated parking space. At a short distance is a large new world supermarket.
I had a lovely stay! Would recommend! Warm, modern, and spacious- yet still very homely. Good shower pressure, comfy pillows, great view, easy for most to navigate self-check. Would definitely stay here again, Thank you!
This place was advertised as 5star however when arriving I found it to be more suitable as a 2 star The room was covered in dust , even the switch by the bed which is very visible was covered in dust. The room had small marks all over the carpet There was blood on the blanket on the bed Added photos below Heatpump only seemed to work to a certain temperature and seem to be controlled by wifi although Peter the guy running the show text me saying they were not controlled after I complained about the room not being toasty warm They have not been painted the walls have cladding of cheap woodwork, with paint drips on them from the ceiling. The bathroom had no vent or heater This place was definitely not a five star at all The owner legitimately ripped me off I feel and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Maybe was nice when they first opened it before all the dust and dirt carpets. Five star places don't have dust piles under the bed and above the bed on lights and frames around the entire room Disgusting to claim it's five stars when it's becoming run down already. Was a treat to myself and felt like I got scammed and ripped off to sleep in a dirty dusty standard motel. I paid over $140 for one night of dust piles and blood stains....
