Kakamas Hotel

This is my favorite place off all the time. I really had fun here. The service is great. The rooms are great. I felt like I was home. It was so, so sad for me to leave. I really left my heart there. It's quiet you can hear the birds and that pure relaxing sensation.. They have beautiful cats walking around the entrance of the place, which is so beautiful, they got ducks running around adorable. The staff it so sad I could not take them home with me, they are so friendly the service is out of this world professional! This owner can be very grateful for having such great staff! Even the Manger the reception ge ts and ladies well done! I'd recommend anyone here. Please do book by them it's the best damn place. I do a lot of reviews, but this place takes the cake! And please give them a raise as well specially the kitchen they go out there way to make fresh food, compliments to the kitchen staff really, the food tasted like I was back at my moms house, the waiters are so friendly shame they really work hard I have respect for them. Thank you, Kakamas Hotel, for making me feel like it's home and treating us like family and keeping up with the smiles and laughter. Miss you already.

Very rustic; rooms neat and clean. Only litte thing is they are next to the N14 and cars and trucks can cause noise; but it's still rustic. Food was fantastic and staff service was fast and friendly.. no issues!

We had 2 nights staying here. Really helpful and nice staff. Room was spotless and spacious. We had a delicious dinner and 2 breakfasts with them. Very convenient to see Augrabies Falls, the Hot Springs and Orange River.
