Kakkos Bay

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a beautiful, calming scent that made a great first impression. We had booked a sea view room, and although there was a small mix-up at first, the hotel staff quickly resolved it and moved us to a stunning panoramic room with views of both the sea and the mountains, it was absolutely worth the wait. The rooms themselves were spotless and very well maintained, which added to the comfort of our stay. The food at the hotel was great, while it might not be for everyone (as we’d read in some reviews before arriving), we found plenty of dishes we really enjoyed. What we loved most was that some favourites made a return on other days, unlike other hotels where you only get to try something once and never see it again. The beach and sea are incredibly clean and beautiful, perfect for relaxing. But what truly makes this hotel special is the staff. Every single person, from the reception to the bartenders was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at home. A special thank you to both Nikos’s at the restaurant, both of them went above and beyond and made us feel truly special. As well as Nikos at the reception was extremely helpful and friendly as well. Must be something about that name in this hotel 😁 If we had to mention anything negative, it would be the limited number of sunbeds by the pool and the guests who leave towels to reserve them but don’t show up for hours. Also, it would be great to have a designated smoking area near the pool, as there were people smoking near the kids’ pool area all the time. Despite these small things, this was a 10/10 experience for us, and we would absolutely love to come back. It truly is a perfect hotel for the full relaxation. I had the most wonderful stay at Kakkos Bay Hotel in Crete, Greece, together with my mom. From the very beginning, we were welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care by the hotel team — from the reception staff to the restaurant crew, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The service was truly exceptional — attentive, kind, and always with a smile. It felt like we were being cared for like family. The hotel itself is incredibly clean, elegant, and beautifully designed, offering a sense of peace and minimal luxury that instantly makes you feel at ease. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Definitely recommend to visit Nalu restaurant by the sea. Kakkos Bay is more than just a hotel — it’s a sanctuary of calm, beauty, and heartfelt hospitality. Thank you for giving us such beautiful memories.

I spent a week here in July. I arrived in the middle of the night, and the receptionist, Mr. Altino, did his job perfectly, very kind and funny, always ready to help in any way he could (the best receptionist I’ve ever met). The food was delicious, traditional Greek and the staff were polite. The views were excellent. It would be nice to have a few more free sun loungers by the pool, although there was always space available on the beach A truly fantastic and peaceful hotel definitely worth recommending Dawid
