Kaktus Hotel Kaktus Albir

We attended a wedding at the Kaktus Hotel and stayed for 2 nights. The first thing is the staff - everyone is super helpful and go the extra miles to be nice. The reception staff were great - especially Alvan and Angel - very friendly and helpful. The lady who cleaned our room was very cheerful but I did not cach her name - lovely lady. The second thing was the food - the wedding dinner was excellent and the breakfast is a literal feast - you can have pretty much anything you want. Definitely recommend this hotel for location, friendliness and food.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights as a short break and had a good time overall. The staff were nice, helpful, and friendly. The hotel itself is clean and spacious, which we appreciated. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. There wasn’t enough entertainment, especially for kids and young people. There was no music around the pools, which made the atmosphere feel a bit dull. The night entertainment was also quite limited and could be better organized to appeal to all age groups. The terrace area is lovely, but the pool there is small and lacks shaded areas, which made it uncomfortable during the hotter parts of the day. With a bit more investment, this space could be turned into something really special.

The room I had booked was occupied upon arrival. Was directed to room number 315. This room was overfurnished and dirty. The terrace was not cleaned and the bedspread was dirty. Was not offered compensation by hotelstaff for the mistake regarding the booking error. The hotel is very worn and needs a major upgrade. The hotel should not offer customers suites that do not meet normal standards. The only positive is the location.
