An absolutely amazing stay. The reason for our stay was unfortunate. Our plane had been delayed and missed our connecting flight. The company sent us to Volga. The staff was very understanding and accommodating. They helped with everything within their ability. From finding numbers to call to helping entertain my children. Would recommend staying here.

I’ve just spent a wonderful 6 nights at Hotel Volga. My room was kept spotlessly clean. Walk in shower, comfortable bed. Balcony overlooking the pool. Tea and coffee making taco. The food was absolutely wonderful. A vast choice and beautifully presented. Very pleasant waiting staff. Helpful and welcoming reception staff and pleasant bar staff. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel. I was in room 132.

Kaktus Hotel Volga – A 4-star hotel that falls short Going on holiday should be about relaxation, enjoyment, and having a good time. Unfortunately, Kaktus Hotel Volga manages to undermine that with disappointing consistency. That said, the breakfast in the morning is actually quite good, and both the hotel bar and the food and drinks available at the pool are well taken care of. The staff is also quite friendly, which is a definite plus. We had booked the Premium Package, which supposedly includes several extras. However, upon arrival, there was no water, kettle, tea, or coffee in the room. When I reported this, I received a call back stating that I had not booked a superior room, and therefore these items were not included. I explained again that we had booked the Premium Package, not just a room upgrade. The hotel manager informed me that nothing could be arranged that day, but it would be resolved the next day—and to their credit, it was. Still, it left the first crack in the overall experience. On the second day at the beach, we were suddenly told that beach towels were no longer included in the Premium Package. This was strange, considering we had received them without issue on the previous day. Having to argue about towels while trying to relax on the beach doesn’t exactly help maintain a positive mood. Even the hotel reception insisted that towels were not included—despite the website clearly stating otherwise. I reported the issue again and am now waiting for a call from the hotel manager. I’m curious to see how they plan to resolve this. Update: I have talked to the hotelmanager. The info on the internet was not correct. They changed it according operating procedures.
