Kalamaki Beach Resort

I spent a weekend at Kalamaki Beach Resort and absolutely fell in love with it. This place is the definition of a relaxing getaway, so much so that I’m already planning to return for a full 2–3 week holiday! The location is great: right on a beautiful beach with crystal-clear waters and stunning views of the Saronic Gulf. The scenery alone is enough to reset your mind, but what really makes this resort special is the effortless comfort. You don’t have to think about anything, everything is provided, making it a true vacation experience. The food was a great: fresh, healthy and light, just what you need during summer! The breakfast and dinner buffets are thoughtfully prepared and leave you feeling great after every meal. The facilities are very convenient and keeping the stay interesting, while they are also family friendly, super important for young parents! I visited with my wife and our 2-year-old daughter, and I can honestly say it’s an ideal place for parents of young kids. We actually managed to relax, something that’s so hard to find on holidays with a toddler! The family-friendly atmosphere, the separate children’s pool, and the quiet, safe surroundings made all the difference. The staff were warm, helpful, and professional, the service made everything easy and smooth from check-in to check-out. Another huge plus: the value for money is the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. For everything that’s included, it’s truly unbeatable. Also worth noting: the area is ideal for combining beach time with nearby cultural exploration. The Corinth Canal and Temple of Isthmia are just a short drive away, and day trips can really elevate the experience. In short, it’s a place to recharge, unwind, and enjoy the best of Greek hospitality. I can’t wait to return!

For the amount we paid, this hotel simply wasn’t worth it. We have stayed at other 4-star hotels that offered much better quality, more comfort, and greater value for the price. The food options were very limited. Many of the hotel services were also overpriced compared to what similar hotels offer. I honestly don’t understand how this property received a 4-star rating when it doesn’t even have basic facilities like a spa, sauna, or wellness center, which are standard in most hotels of this category. Overall, it felt like we didn’t get our money’s worth, and I would recommend considering other options in the same category that provide better quality and service for the price.

Very pricey for the offering. Conveniently located close to Athens, but quite expensive. Especially the inclusive package with the included meal, it overpriced. The quality of the meal buffet is very poor to the point that after the first day you will want to go and try a local tavern outside the hotel. Overall i was very disappointed.
