Kalderimi Studios

Coming down the walking trail from the Cave of St John, I found Kalderimi. My room had old world charm with a wooden front door and modern clean interior. Because you’re a little up the hill you have a great view of Skala and the bay. Comfy bed gave me a great night’s sleep.

We are an art-related couple from Vienna who comes every year to Patmos to spend some weeks in our summer residence "Kalderimi" - and we love everything here! The individually built villa is the only house at the border of an old traditional path (called "kalerimi") leading to the cave of the Apocalypse, ideally situated between the Port with Skala town and the upper Chora village around the monastery. The owners, a cultivated modern greek family, have from the first stay on (8 years ago) become friends, and every guest is treated as part of the family. Travellers with a taste of simple, beautiful exclusivity can find peace and contemplation here. We warmheartedly recommend this place!

Very nice place at few meter from the Skala "downtown", wonderful view (we stayed in the upper ones) on port, gulf and old Chora. Clean and well cared with typical greek tasteful forniture. Lady manager and her son were really very nice. Highly recommanded for those looking a relax place.
