Kale Konak

The most unique place we’ve ever stayed at! Here in Cappadocia we enjoyed “being bears” as my daughter liked to say. This is the first and only cave hotel we’ve ever been to and it was something to experience once in a lifetime. The rooms are great and they make it as comfortable as they possibly can inside a cave. Some things could be cleaner and the bathroom had a smell to it. The service and staff were so great and friendly though. The lady on check in was so helpful and the manager of the place set us up with the hot air balloon ride (see balloon ride review). Hope you like animals bc they have 2 live in dogs there and a bunch of cats around and in the property. The steps to go up and down the place are pretty steep so better be mobile. The male staff member at the reception was also friendly and helpful when we asked a bunch of questions of him. Upon check in, they offered this delicious refreshing glass of mint lemonade and some cake. Best lemonade ever. They offer food on site for purchase if you want to munch or drink there. We also had the Turkish breakfast in the morning which was included. It was amazingly delicious, well thought out, and had so many elements to it. There was more food brought out than pictured but I didn’t get to capture those since I was too busy eating. We especially enjoyed the eggs and the mini donut type things. So fresh and piping hot! Overall, we had a wonderful time here and would recommend it to anybody who is able to walk up and down those steps. The cave-like feel of the place has an adventurous vibe to it.

Great location and fabulous Turkish breakfast. They have a wonderful Hammam which could be reserved for private use.

The best experience with this hotel.Staffs are very nice and friendly.The owner is very nice as well.Cappadocia tour made very nice and comfy.I would recommend the Kale Konak hotel.
