Kaluyo Resort Gran Hotel

Wonderful atmosphere, it's got all the accommodations that you would have in a 5 start hotel with the air, decoration and views of a country house. It's only an hour drive from the city all of it but the last mile is on asphalt. The staff is very friendly and they have a Sunday buffet.

Remote hotel 1 hour outside Cochabamba. BOLIVIA. Warm and helpful staff. Nice park and flowers. Very nice swimming pool, although it was cold and I didn't swim. Nice solarium. Very peaceful place. Beach volleyball court. Football field of play. Play room with pool tables. The hotel building is big with few but huge rooms, especially the main suite (too big). There is no ambiance. No decoration. Lighting is cold and poor and roofs too high. The hotel during the nights between 4 to 9 of June 2018 was extremely cold. No central heating. There are a couple of unused fire places. There is room for parking. There are no elevators and no weel chair ramps. For the main suite at the 1st floor it is challenging to move your luggage if it is large or heavy. There is a meeting room at the 1st floor. Outside there is a nice dinning with glass walls and a bar. The food was simple home made style. Good soups and fresh juices. There is a nice simple Chappell. If you want to rest and be alone it might be a nice place. There is nothing else to do around unless you go to the lake 15 minutes far from the hotel. No place for teen agers. Internet is not stable and the connection poor and opened. My Gmail account was hacked 30 minutes after connecting to the open service of the hotel. If you want to visit the Cochabamba city it is almost 1 hour far from the hotel.
