Kamalaya Koh Samui

Absolutely loved my stay in Kamalaya. The pictures and reviews don't do full justice to the beauty and tranquility of the place. The quality of the facilities and service is excellent. You really feel the care and support throughout your stay. Superb attention to the smallest of detail that make a big difference. High quality, clean linen, furniture, and bath products. The wellness centre is spotless with immensely kind and talented therapists- and the most amazing views into the sea and mountains! So is the yoga pavilion and Yantra Hall. It is almost dream like to finish a yoga or meditation session and walk over to see the ocean views. The room I stayed in was more spacious than it appeared in pictures and housekeeping checked in twice a day. The Hillside rooms are closer to the activity centres and dinner/breakfast restaurants so make it easier walk to places. Of course, staying closer to the beach too has its advantages but some pathways are quite steep and quite the trek. The food is top-notch with a menu that combines local flavours and western recipes all based on the best quality ingredients with the highest standards of cooking, presentation, and taste. You can feel the freshness in every meal! The service staff, manager, and head chef were extremely polite, friendly, and attentive and the whole place exudes peace, calm, restfulness, and generosity.

Came here without expectations as I was joining a friend on her detox journey. Kamalaya was built for any form of detox journey u are looking for. Mind and body. The workout / event schedule all make sense. Not frilly like most resorts. The massages & treatments are executed by properly trained professionals. There’s a digital detox required in common areas. The result an actually quiet resort. So quiet u can fully immerse in the beautiful nature it is built upon. The private beach is small but adequate for a calm evening stroll or just relax. Food is good makes me want to eat cleaner even back home. Staff is friendly and go above and beyond making you feel at home. Rooms are not 5 star resort level but clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this space for an any form of detox and rejuvenation you’re looking for.
