This is THE place to stay on Maui! The location is paramount to navigating the island for various activities/adventures, and for seeing both sunrise & sunset from the lanai! We walked to the beach (Kamaole 2), and snorkeled right out front with turtles and various sea life. It was beautiful. There’s an outdoor shower for both body & feet, so we were sure to rinse before entering the condo (unit 501). It’s definitely warm inside without AC, so we were strategic with air flow, and used the portable fans to keep cool. It had all the amenities we needed, and we can’t wait to come back and stay again! Across the street- within walking distance- are various stores, restaurants, and gear rentals. The property managers were extremely responsive and accommodating when we needed anything. It was wonderful to meet them and the owners during our stay.
We shared a 2 bedroom condo with our daughter and son in law. We were on the ground floor. Loved it!!! Best location! So many places we could walk to. The turtles came to the lava rock shore, in front of the condo, each evening to eat. Amazing! The condo was clean and just lovely!! The only reason I gave the condo 4 stars, is that the parking lot is pretty small and tight.
Had a nice stay, whoever owns the unit has it well stocked and they try their best to supply all of your beach needs, but there are better places in Maui considering that whoever books here will blatantly lie to you! We requested a late check out after we were told the condo was available 3 more days. Thought about extending our trip but needed a late checkout to arrange flights, then suddenly they were fully booked even though you can still see availability online? Not very accommodating for late flights either! We understand the way housekeeping works and that late checkouts are inconvenient, however lying about their availability to get out of offering a late check out is weak and embarrassing. You shouldn’t have to lie about this to your guests, onto the place down the street i suppose!
