Kamenoi Hotel Yaizu

Yaizu posthotel is a nice place, we had a tatami+bed combined room with a great sea view and private bath at the outside terasse. Super.

Visited on Monday, July 28, 2025 While searching for a hotel for my trip to Yaizu, I found this hotel, which had good reviews. It's located quite high up in the mountains, making it difficult to explore the surrounding area on foot. Everything was delicious and I was very satisfied. Dinner, the ramen we had for dinner, and breakfast were all better than expected. After we got home, my husband and I talked about how delicious it was and how we wanted to go back. The only drawback was that the food took a very long time to arrive. The staff member asked, "May I bring you some rice?" and after I said yes, it took a long time to arrive. The same staff member came again and asked, "May I bring you some rice?" a second time. He still didn't come, so a different staff member asked, "May I bring you some rice?" a third time. I couldn't help but sarcastically say, "This is the third time we've had this conversation," even though the last staff member wasn't at fault. Finally, the food was brought. Even though I had taken the time to grill the meat over a fire, by the time I opened the lid it had cooled down and was greasy. The staff seemed busy the whole time, so I think they should do something about it.
