I was attending the 2019 Volcano Run in Merapi and my groups booked some houses at Kampung Labasan. This place was lovely I love the rooms and the bathroom was nice. It's traditional and comfortable and the people work there were nice. Would love to stay longer but it was only one night stay.
They offer a back-to-nature atmosphere, and the price was quite good. It's not a hotel, but like a hostel (some of the room have bunk beds) with bathroom inside. The food was delicious and only offers Indonesian (traditional) food. The main concern from me was they have many cats there (angora and persia if I'm not mistaken), and sometimes the owner let them playing around
The room was clean and spacious. Need some more cleaning for the bathroom though. There are many cats, owner's pet, which is awesome (don't worry they're in their cage but you can play with them, just ask the employee). The entire place is good, surrounded by river and greens. Love to back there.
