Kanapitsa Mare Hotel

This hotel is amazing!! The location, atmosphere, staff, everything. Stayed June 2025 and found the hotel to be everything I was expecting, very clean, and great location. It’s up a small gradient, so those with mobility issues may be effected, but this wasn’t an issue for us. Great check in service, efficient and quick. The room was great, overlooking the sea and had full on sunshine all morning. Great air conditioning, a must have. The room had a nice balcony, room safe and the most amazing mattresses, very very comfortable. The included breakfast was adequate, buffet style, with a choice of hot and cold, juices, fresh fruit etc, all very nice. The hotel has a great salt water pool, which is nice to lounge around during the day or take a dip to cool off. Evening entertainment is limited, but this wasn’t an issue as we like to be out and exploring. Short walk (5 mins) from Bus Stop 12, so getting around is easy. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming, big shout out to Katherine, such a friendly, fun and professional lady, nothing was ever too much trouble. All in all, would recommend the Kanapitsa Mare Hotel 👍

I really wanted to write the review, because score on booking is unfair for this hotel. We just returned after 4 nights at Kanapitsa Mare and everything was super! Staff super nice, breakfast very good and fresh, position very good, with beaches very close, rooms are big and very clean, a bit old fashion, a refurbishment would do good, but overall we had a great experience

The breakfast is a game of trying to catch the lady who cleans up the tables and asking her to fill up the cutlery, plates, napkins, water, food etc. because otherwise it takes quite a while for them to fill them up without anyone asking. The breakfast doesn't change almost at all between days. The location is good if you don't mind walking a bit to a beach, which I didn't. There are multiple beaches in a 10 min radius.
