Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Kanchan Recreation! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, offering easy access to local attractions, yet it still felt peaceful and relaxing. The highlight, though, was the warm hospitality we received. The team truly made every effort to ensure we had a memorable experience. Whether it was a delicious breakfast spread, the attentive service at the restaurant, or just the overall ambiance of the property, everything was top-notch. I highly recommend Hotel Kanchan Recreation for anyone visiting the area – it's the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. Will definitely return for another stay!

From check-in to check-out, everything was incredibly smooth. The hotel has implemented excellent safety protocols, with staff wearing masks and sanitization stations available throughout. I felt very comfortable knowing that they prioritized cleanliness and guest health. The food was outstanding! The breakfast buffet offered a variety of choices, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes cooked to perfection. I especially enjoyed the local cuisine options for dinner, which were both authentic and flavorful. The in-room dining was also top-notch, with quick service and attention to detail, making dining a delightful experience. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to assist, adding to the warmth and safety of my stay. In total I have stayed 3rce at Kanchan. It is or rather was a nice boutique hotel. But this time the quality of stay was bad. Not even a single mobile number available online or even via Booking portals are a functional number. For the tariff they are still charging you would find other good luxury staying options. The rooms and washrooms smell really bad. One of the room they tried to give us for our stay was actually being used by one of their sick (suffering from cold) staff member. Thank god we upgraded cause later I saw him taking a nap inside the same room. Food wont be available as they have some issue with chef not being their or being "absent" due to rains.. I mean this is a functioning hotel. But not just that.. they wont even suggest or give an option of them helping you get/ order food from some other restaurant. They just leave it to you to figure out. *Note there are no good eatery or restaurants nearby. Also night time next to their building where there's a board for Payal Hotel, people were sitting and drinking. Others around say that the management/ owner has changed hence the situation. But at the moment this is one of the worst hotels in Maheshwar.
