Kandy Myst by Cinnamon

This is a very new and beautiful hotel, close to Kandy City, a few minutes drive away. The hotel absolutely, beautiful; new, fresh and well decorated. The rooms are excellent well organized with everything you need, and the one we had, had a beautiful view of the Main Street. The pool area and the terrace are relaxing and offer a great view of the area. The breakfast buffet was excellent and had a mixture of both local and western foods, with fresh beverages. The staff were kind, helpful and polite. Definitely a place we will visit again.

From the moment we made our reservation, the experience was excellent. A special thanks to Ms. Shifana for her support in helping us select the rooms — the arrangements were done perfectly, just as we hoped. Truly grateful for her assistance. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome. Ms. Prabodhani at the reception went above and beyond to help us with a few room adjustments — her professionalism and kindness made a great first impression. The hotel service overall was outstanding. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making our stay truly comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were impeccably clean, well-arranged, and offered a beautiful mountain view that added to the relaxing atmosphere. The infinity pool, along with the jacuzzi, was a highlight — heartwarming and incredibly soothing. When it comes to food, the dinner buffet had limited variety, though the Sri Lankan corner stood out with authentic flavors. Breakfast was better, with a decent selection — not exceptional, but quite satisfactory. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway with excellent service. The dedication and quality of the staff truly elevate the experience — hats off to the team for making our stay memorable.

The Kandy Myst truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t have been happier with the comfort, warmth, kindness, and excellence of service. It was remarkable how the staff were consistently kind, happy, and welcoming—treating myself and our team like family day after day. Their superior level of hospitality never wavered; if anything, it grew stronger. I’m so impressed with this hotel—the luxurious facilities, the excellence of the management, and especially the staff: the pool and gym team, the wonderful servers at the pool level and breakfast service, the kind and patient housekeeping team, and the warm smile of the doorman every time we walked in. Every single person is a gem. Thank you for your hospitality. It was an incredible stay.
