Kano Sari

I have stayed at Kano Sari for 5 nights and had an amazing experience. Our room was very close to the river and forest and we were lucky to hear the water and birds during the evenings and nights. The room decorations are done by locals so be prepared for an authentic experience. Bathroom can easily transform into your spa corner due to the big bathtub. The staff is very friendly and helpful, doing everything to make us feel as comfortable as possible. Breakfast is selected from a predefined list daily, but it was very tasty and fresh. I would recommend this accommodation in Ubud if you want to have a truly Balinese experience.

Such a great weekend here! The place is small which means lots of warmth, attention to detail, and accommodation to making our experience great. We enjoyed our riverside massages, tasty breakfasts, and beautiful villa. It’s walkable to the main road, which we found to be the easiest way to get around. Also easy to get a car when needed. Somewhere to relax, unwind & explore Ubud. On arrival l entered into the main villa's lounge dinning area which overlooked an amazing Balinese garden with a very inviting pool, I was greeted and taken to the lounge for check in. Very friendly, knowledgeable & attentive staff, will help in any way they can. The room & bathroom are very spacious, beautifully decorated and peaceful, with a small outdoor sitting area to enjoy the soothing sound of the river, birds & insects (which are very musical) I was surprised & greatful for the little extra's - airing stand, fridge with mini bar (reasonable prices), kettle for tea/coffee, large water cooler, large (1 lt) bottles shampoo, conditioner & body soap, pool towels and sarong to use during your stay. The hotel is situated on a slope, therefore there are a few stairs to access a couple of the villa's. A must is, book a massage on the open terrace, book one for each day that you're there, it was bliss. Lovely breakfast that you order the night before and served in the outdoor dining by the pool. They also offer a menu for lunch & dinner, which I recommend if you don't want to venture into Ubud. It's only 5-7 min walk down to one of the main roads of Ubud to shops & restaurants, 10-15 min walk to Palace & markets. Kano Suri will provide transport to the heart of Ubud. Highly recommend. It felt like I was staying at a friend's place, without the guilt that l'm using their things without asking. Loved it
