Kansas City Marriott Downtown

This place is really nice and clean. They came right up when I needed extra towels. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash is provided, and breakfast buffet was about $23 a person, but you can opt out and order from a menu. Valet parking is $43-$45 a day and parking yourself is $37. The only downfall is we didn't have a microwave, but we had a safe, mini fridge, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. Each floor also provided an ice machine and a couple of vending machines.

Andrew the valet was amazing. He met us when we first arrived with a cheerful and outgoing personality. He helped us with our luggage and asked if there was anything else he could help us with. It was very obvious that the room was not cleaned properly prior to our arrival. There was hair all over the pillows and comforter. And an open bottle of wine was left in the fridge. Daily turn down service helped mitigate this as those cleanings were done right with nice attention to detail including the kids stuffed animals being arranged cutely on the bed. The pool was cold and unpleasant to be in, so we couldn't swim long. Overall, the hotel was very nice and the self parking felt secure with having to scan card to get in and out.
