Kanuku Suites

Grand coastal canceled my booking, and I ended up staying here. Best thing to happen. Quiet, clean and relaxing hotel. Staff was fantastic. Brandon took care of everything at the front desk. Miss Ayester took care of our food and drinks, and made sure we got what we wanted to eat. Security was always there to greet us whenever we came back from trips. Rooms are very clean, and are cleaned daily. Bathrooms are spotless and the hot water never runs out. I will never stay at another hotel as long as Kanuku is around.

This place needs some improvement even though I booked a King bed room I was offred a double bedroom at check-in. The AC worked good but you have to let it run for a good time other wise the room won’t be cool. They offer breakfast but this one is just one choice and they try to have a variation every day, regarding the dinner is mainly the same, you have the option to order food from near by restaurants but this have to pay in cash. The staff try to give you a good service even with the limitations n this place.

Hotel needs a major update, rooms are old, as are the beds. The cleanliness leaves plenty to be desired but they have AC to offset the lack of hot water in the shower. However, worst of all, the service was horrendous. 45 minutes to get breakfast, and another 30 to get the bill. You might get bottled water at the bar, or you might be told they shut down 2 hours early because they don't feel like serving you. There are different exchange rates at the front desk and the rest of the hotel, undisclosed CC fees and a complete lack of respect for the guest. Will never stay here again, and would not recommend anyone else do so either.
