Karona Resort & Spa SHA Extra Plus

Everything was amazing, i’m very much looking forward to coming back. Karona has it all; amazing staff, amazing location, great position on Karon beach, just 1 minute walk from the convenience store and the beach. What else can you ever wish for? The room is very specious, they provide beach towels, and daily house cleaning, as well as included breakfast.

The room with a view to the pool is perfect. Room no 303. Building has an elevator if you need it. Spacious and clean. Beds ok+. Balcony is ok for 2, exept for some mosquitos that made it diffucult to sit out there. Not big enough to sit out there with friends. Did not find a place at the hotel to sit outside in private and enjoy a bottle of vine. Hopeless singer/ music in the restaurant. Please stop that! Dont need it. Breakfast is 8 out of 10. Beach is perfectly close. No problem with the road. Can go home to use bathroom😆. Some stores, a lot of restaurants near hotel. Walk or go by Tuc tuc (200 bth) 1,5 km towards Patong beach sto get a lot of action. Stores, food, People.... Took us 2 hours from airport with private taxi. Traffic is insane!!

Hotel has just stairs everywhere. You can’t rich anything without stairs. They are different high what’s make more difficult to step. Swimming pool area is also a disaster. Sun beds totally uncomfortable, old and every time you use it you scare to they just ruined under you. Sun parasols are also old. Mattresses are thin and useless, because you feel every metal in your body from sun beds. Breakfast boring like hell. Many days there were no alternative for them who not eating meat. No fish ,no chicken just pork. All food are tasteless, far away from Thai food. Juice was like water, coffee- brown water. Room had no chairs. In little and tiny balcony was just small uncomfortable bench. No table. View was nice. To sea. Towels for pool area was never changed. We got them first day and used one week. SPA - was very very good. Very professional staff. Calm and quiet.
