Karpaha Sands

Wow!!! What a place. We absolutely loved it here and were blown away how special it was. The tented accommodation was beautiful, comfortable beds, fresh coffee, shower outside under the stars, freestanding bath, private terrace surrounded by nature. Service was exceptional - private butler who even nipped out to get our baby some wipes. The GM was so friendly and welcoming, meeting us on arrival and checking on us throughout our stay and there to wave us off at the end. The private beach was stunning but you could also watch the locals haul in their seafood catch every day which was fabulous to see. The pool area was beautiful, the food from the restaurant very good. It felt like a very private exclusive retreat but with enough people to make you feel comfortable. We were there with 2 small children and it was perfect for them too, and there’s plenty for older kids with an outdoor cinema you can add on and beach games. We just wished we stayed longer than 2 nights and would love to return again.

The most special place! We'd read some incredible reviews of this hotel before we stayed but honestly nothing can prepare you for just how dreamy it is. We arrived not feeling our best (recovering from food poisoning) and a very long day of travel and it was like stepping in to a true sanctuary. Umberto, the manager, could not have been more welcoming and checked in with all the guests when ever he was walking around which was such a special touch. Our tented room was incredible, beautifully designed and the outdoor shower was unreal. Our butler, Dulip, was a total credit to the resort and could not have done more for us, he checked in every morning and evening and was just so kind. The value for money is outstanding and the communal areas are so well maintained. A special shout out to the restaurant staff, the food was incredible and we just wish we could have tried more of the menu - everything was so fresh and tasty! We just wish that we'd had more nights here, we will without question be back soon.

Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner – each dish was a culinary experience. We also appreciated the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and support for local communities. It’s clear that Karpaha Sands is run with a strong sense of responsibility and heart.
