The view from the room is amazing! Huge twin size beds. If you need to use hot spring you will have to take their shuttle bus (twice every hour) to the west or east branch. Nothing nearby. Just the resort itself. Recommend traveling with a car.
This hotel is at the southern tip of the Grand Resort. It has no spa or hot spring attached to it and have to take the shuttle bus to go to Price Karuizawa Hotel West and East which is quite inconvenient. It has only one Italian fine dinning restaurant. For families the East and West hotels are more suitable. The decoration is quite old style as well.
Checked in late due to heavy snow. The reception did not provide sufficient information around the campus and how to use the facilities that required to take shuttle to the main building. Tried to ask how does it work to use the hot spring. The counter was confused and seemed not to speak English? Hope the breakfast can do some good to get some pros for the impression.
