Kasa Cadillac Square Detroit

Our room was clean, cool and comfortable. We had all the toiletries we needed for our stay. We had to call the guest services for an extra blanket and one other time at the beginning of our stay prior to checking in and the service manager was absolutely delightful to talk to. She helped us find exactly what we needed and was so patient while we maneuvered our way through the building to find exactly what we were looking for. I would definitely recommend Kasa to all of my friends and family.

Our stay was great. Very close to everything we needed to get to Very easy to get into the rooms. Having the parking garage right across the street from the location was helpful. I don’t know when the last time the floors were mopped. They were a bit sticky and dirty. Some luggage racks would be great! Would stay again!

I stayed there earlier in August for 3 nights. First thing to understand is that there are no humans who physically work there. Everything is done via text or phone. I arrived before check in and was able to put my suitcase in storage, but there was no bathroom I could use to change or freshen up. I noticed my first night there was what looked like mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. I sent photos and requested a room change for the next day. It took almost a full 24 hours, multiple phone calls and texts, and a lot of advocacy on my part to finally change rooms. They sent someone into my room without communicating with me, and they bleached the mold and told me everything was resolved, with zero offer to switch rooms. The room reeked of bleach and I basically had to beg to switch rooms. The rooms are big and it's a good location, but bad customer service and I suspect there could be more mold. Saw areas in the bathroom in the new room that had been painted over too.
