I had an amazing stay at Kasbah Agounsane! The place is incredibly peaceful and quiet—perfect for recharging. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with super comfortable beds that made my stay even more relaxing. The garden is well-maintained, and the breathtaking views add to the charm of the location. I spent most of my time chilling by the pool, which was the perfect spot to unwind. The food and service were also excellent, with my favorite meal/lunch being the delicious Chicken Club Sandwich. Kasbah Agounsane is truly a hidden gem, and I’ll definitely be returning!
Absolutely lovely. Impeccable / top notch service. Good selection of food and beverages. Wonderful staff! Beautiful gardens and pool and very clean. Would definitely stay again!
We have never stayed anywhere worse than this place. It looks nice in pictures, but that's where the good ends. The room was just OK. Uncomfortable bed, bad lighting, and no water provided. We had to ask for water. This wouldn't normally be an issue, but we are not close to any shops, and the shuttle to town is definitely not free. The location definitely makes you feel very isolated and entirely reliant upon the hotel to provide everything We could easily get over the average room and poor location if the third (and worst thing) wasn't an issue. The service here is appalling. I've never experienced anything worse! The waiter has a simple menu to go by but constantly forgets your order. The first night, I ordered the beef tangia. I never got my side until after thirty minutes. So, effectively ate a plate of beef on its own. My wife's chicken tagine was not a tagine at all. She was given a leg of chicken with a small handful of chips inside a tagine! Super strange. We also had lunch, which came out of the kitchen cold. The second night's dinner, we decided to order the couscous in advance (they need to know 6 hours prior). My wife ordered the chicken, and I ordered the beef. I did not get beef. The kitchen had a "mix up." On top of that, we noticed everyone else received bread with their evening meals. We never got any bread. At breakfast, everyone else received a glass of fruit juice. We had to ask. Every other table had much bigger tea pots than the one we got as well. With all these points above, we definitely felt we were discriminated against in some way. If you are reading this and wondering why we didn't go eat somewhere else? Nowhere else is near to this place. So, you are stuck with their bad food and terrible service. Our last night for food was a lot better (different waiter), but unfortunately, the damage had already been done. The reviews online for this place are suspiciously good, which makes me wonder how many are fake! Do not believe the good reviews. However, if you speak French, you probably get treated much better. That's how it came across. On the flip side, it does have nice views and a pretty garden area outside. We did enjoy the hammocks. Those were a nice touch.
