A beautiful place! The grounds and moat are lovely to walk around and explore. The room had a comfy bed and good sized shower as well as a coffee machine and mini fridge which was good for evening snacks in bed. Plenty of parking out back too and only a short walk from the car to your room!
5 stars all the way with friendly staff. What a pleasure. Brasserie food was delicious. Rooms were super, we loved the underfloor heating near the entrance. An Otter swam by in the dyke beside our room. Thank you to everyone there for making it such a lovely stay.
Came for high tea. Lovely setting. Incredibly slow services… more than 3 hours to finish. The 1st course was lovely but the 2nd, and 3rd contained only 1 small item… felt odd to wait more than 45 minutes for a scone. The gardens are beautiful.
