I must say this is 100% one of the best resorts I've ever stayed in! It is so clean but beyond beautiful! I stayed in the pool villa room which was massive and absolutely stunning. Between the view to the forest and the gorgeous tree which was lit up at night, as well as all the wonderful sounds of the forest, the amazing gardens and the whole middle of the forest vibe... it was just such a magical experience! The staff really look after you the second you get to the resort (thankyou Meilani for making my whole stay so easy!). The room - the air conditioning was excellent, the bed was comfortable and I absolutely loved the fluffy pillows! I wish I could take them home, they were so soft. The room was huge and I have to make special mention of the shower! It was THE BEST, it had its own garden and the beautiful large walls with open top made you feel like you were outside but still in your own villa, was really relaxing and wonderful (the bath was great too). I ordered room service for most of my meals, the food was very well priced and absolutely delicious! The resort obviously uses chefs to do the meals, each meal was full of flavour, immaculately presented and tasted every bit as good as it looked, I wish I had taken more photos. I got the all inclusive breakfast which also was amazing!! And also there is a beautiful included afternoon snack with tea or coffee from 3-5pm (you don't want to eat it as the presentation is out of a magazine!). There was a very clean kettle (I say this because I like to make tea and coffee and I find some of the hotels the kettles are pretty gross) and 4 bottles of water put in the unit each day (with room clean). I usually dont do such an in depth review but just in case you are a researcher, like I am, I thought I would explain a few things more in detail. The resort itself it remarkable, every part of it, the pools with swings, the deeper pool, the waterfall features, the day spa and the restaurant have such an ambiance. It is lit up beautifully at night so you can still hear and see out to the forest. The guest activities are excellent. I went on the walk through the rice paddy fields and sadly missed a lot of the other activities but heard from other guests that the cooking class and the purification tour were fantastic. The resort also organised a driver for me as I wanted to have a look at the coffee tasting up the road... it was also a fantastic experience with probably about 15 taste testers of tea and coffee and a small tour of coffee farm (the coconut and vanilla coffees were so delicious) as well as one of the big jungle swings if you wanted to go on it (you need to buy a ticket). I was a little worried about going to Ubud as to how I could get anywhere but the resort have you covered! Thank you so much Agung Rai for taking me everywhere (and also lending me cash when I really need it - SO HELPFUL), Agung not only took me to the tasting but drove me 2 hours to Legian to get my teeth fixed (waited for me for the whole dental appointment which was just over 2 hours) drove me around afterwards, and then all the way back. He had great knowledge about the area and so helpful and friendly (car was immaculate , nice and cold and water supplied), thank you Agung! I think there is also a shuttle in the morning into the town. Anyway, the resort is a 10/10, I have never felt so relaxed and happy, it is exactly what they say, a spiritual place to stay... it is really one of the most beautiful places Ive stayed, and very highly recommend staying there if you get the chance, my only regret is not booking for a week or longer as you want to experience Ubud, but also relax at the resort. I have to make a special mention to Meilani and Wewin (Meilani in reception, nothing was a problem such wonderful customer service thank you for looking after me, and Wewin also such great customer service... made you feel at home immediately) and Wahyu, Angga, Dian, Ari and Dwipayana... you all made my trip and were all so professional and had such great customer service!
We had a very pleasant stay. The resort is located in a green oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The staff is very friendly and will do anything for you. Not a 5-star rating due to minor details: loose tiles in the pool, the shower being either too hot or too cold and lacking consistent pressure, and the restaurant being chaotic at times. But I can definitely recommend the resort.
Resort was good, but bathroom in our room was bit smelly and there was some issue with AC in room always showed 25 as temperature no matter what temperature you set. Food options in breakfast, I found limited. As vegetarian I found but difficulty in options available in breakfast. Staff is polite and helpful. Overall stay was good and refreshing.
