Kelapa Retreat & Spa

Kelapa is a fantastic place to kick back and relax. It is situated on a beautiful and clean tropical beach with black sand. Waves are quite strong, so good fun for bodyboarding etc. The estate is very spacious and has two great pools with many deckchairs. The villas are also really beautiful. Another great feature of the retreat is the staff who do everything to make you feel good and enjoy your stay. They go out of their way to accommodate your wishes. For example, we wanted to change rooms during our stay and that was completely unproblematic. Last, the restaurant. For breakfast, there is a large buffet of amazing quality and variety. Officially, it’s open until 11 a.m. but staff will never try to rush you even if you stay for much longer or arrive late. For lunch and dinner the restaurant offers many different quality dishes, both local and international. To sum up: one of the best places I’ve ever been to.

Great place. We really enjoyed everything. The location of the hotel is perfect for relaxation and getaway. We stayed for our honeymoon in a beach villa. It was spacious, clean and private. We enjoyed the pool and the food provided at the restaurant which is more than delicious and diverse. The stuff was also very attentive and caring. We truly had a great experience. Highly recommend.

We chose this resort for our honeymoon because we wanted a nice and quiet place to relax. It's perfect if you really need to take a break from life and enjoy some peace and quiet surrounded by nature and the constant sound of waves. The staff is really doing their very best to make us feel comfortable. :) And the food is absolutely fantastic! However, it's really far from the airport and any of the touristy places, so if you're looking for one of those instagrammable stays, maybe you should pick some other hotel.
