I loved this place. I was planning to stay here only one night, but it was so amazing that I came back again later. The food was great. The staff was great and nice and helpful. Some people spoke English and I wasn’t expecting it (best experience so far with English in hotels this trip, and I stayed at 9 hotels so far). The bed in my first room was excellent, however, my second room was not as good. The bathroom was great, and the robe was super soft. It’s a soft bed, the pillows were soft, and an overall great experience. Here were my issues; 1) it was in the middle of no where lol. But after day 3 I didn’t care and just hopped in a taxi to go anywhere I needed to. Literally can’t walk to even the metro. 2) I didn’t like that you couldn’t drive up into the hotel - or maybe they had a different entrance, but the taxis didn’t know about it. 3) the room colors just seemed so outdated and ugly. 4) the desk didn’t have any chargers. It was a mess to crawl behind the desk to find one. Overall 5/5 would recommend.

The air conditioning situation at this hotel is awful compared to North American standards. I was thinking that the air con was not working, so I called downstairs and someone came and tested the temperature with a temperature-gun. The temperature was 72°F and I was told that this is the lowest it goes. The hotel did offer me a fan to compliment the abismal damp room. I was glad I only had to stay for two nights.
