Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan

I stayed for three nights for work at this hotel. From entering the building the lobby is gorgeous and very polished. The staff was well dressed and professional and friendly throughout my entire stay. Breakfast was a nice selection of both Western and Asian foods- both of high quality. My room had tons of amenities and the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet as well. My only complaint was that the air conditioning would not work according to temperature. The heat seemed to switch on after a certain amount of time even when I had the it on the lowest setting. I ended up opening a window paritially because of this. Room service was prompt and tasted good. The gym is adequate with a variety of machines and cardio equipment but is not 24hr. Overall, my stay was very pleasant for my work.

Very nice hotel, swimming pool and fitness center. Has a sleek, corporate feel. The staff is helpful, but seemed a bit confused at times. It isn't walking distance to much, so you'll have to drive to shops and food. It's restaurants are very nice and the hotel breakfast was incredible.

Nice appearance but very outdated. The hotel is 12 years old I believe and all tech is original. Poor wifi, risky looking electrical in rooms.
