The room was the great unloved. Lights out everywhere, lamps not working. Carpet was filthy and in need of replacing. The apartment itself was spacious and could be beautiful if a bit of thought went into it, however unfortunately it gave the feel of student housing. It really wouldn't take much to improve and I hope the owner does because it could be beautiful!!! Dishwasher didn't clean anything but there was no plug in the sink in order to do washing up properly and only 2 sachets of liquid. A washing line or a clothes horse would be useful as there is a washing machine. Sofa was extremely uncomfortable as was the arm chair. It was clean overall (apart from the carpet) but just felt a bit grotty as it needs some care put into it. Parking was good and secure. Check In was odd as they said they would send me a code for the lock box but they didn't, when we arrived we found out the lock box was in another building and we had to call to get the code. Location was ok but a fair walk to the main part, would be good if you have a car.
My friend booked us the apartments for the ground floor due to disabilities and a rear of heights. We specifically requested a ground floor BECAUSE of her disabilities. On the day of the booking were were informed that the room requested was flooded and could not be used. The receptionist was questioning her as to why she could not use the stairs or lift at the apartment building and why she couldn't just do another floor. We required a unit at the ground floor and it was changed at the last minute. We had no option but to demand a refund. The man on the phone was rude and unprofessional.
I turned up after a heap of travel and then see a letter on the front door advising to turn around and walk 100 mtrs to the office. Not a great start. Check in and they ask for $150 damages security deposit. Well, not sure why. The room was damaged from top to toe. The rooms had large scrape marks around the tv. Scrape marks on one wall a foot long x 3. The carpets were so badly stained. Hairs in the shower. Long brown. I'm bald. 2 foot around the edge of the bed (not a worry as it was only me there). Do yourself a favour and do NOT stay here.
