Centrally located close to all attractions and restaurants - walking distance. It is located on a quiet pedestr pedestrian street Rooms clean and great service. Very helpful and friendly lady who works there.

I went to the hotel, it was very nice, in a great location right in the city centre. The room was a bit small, but very clean and the shower was really nice. The breakfast had fixed items. Found a bit of trouble getting to the hotel parking space, but the receptionist was really kind and helped us.

I have been a seasoned traveler across Europe and Australia for over 20 years, and unfortunately, this hotel stands out as one of the most unprofessional experiences I have encountered. The management demonstrated a complete lack of concern for guest well-being or the delivery of reasonable service. We attempted to cancel a reservation with 24 hours' notice before check-in due to a hospital-diagnosed case of influenza. Our request was fair: we proposed they charge the first night and release the remaining nights, giving them over 48 hours to resell the rooms. Notably, their availability showed they were not fully booked during this period, meaning our request did not cause them to miss out on new reservations. Initially, the reception falsely claimed that booking.com policies prevented any refund. However, after contacting booking.com, we were informed that refund decisions are entirely at the hotel's discretion, and they even sent a refund request to the hotel on our behalf. When following up with the hotel, we were treated rudely by a male staff member who claimed to be the owner but then contradicted himself, stating decisions were made by "others." His responses were evasive and inconsistent, with false statements such as needing to consult with others in the morning, then later blaming us for not having canceled sooner. The situation worsened with his refusal to acknowledge booking.com’s refund request and his insistence that we cancel through booking.com, which would result in us being charged the full amount without any confirmation of their approval. Additionally, he refused to provide his name, further highlighting the lack of transparency and professionalism. The hotel's refusal to accommodate a reasonable cancellation request, especially in the context of a medical issue, and their dismissive attitude toward guest health is deeply disappointing. We will be reporting this property to booking.com and other relevant platforms and sharing our experience to ensure future travellers are aware.
