Kenzi Solazur Hotel

We had such a lovely time at this hotel! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the start. The spa was absolutely amazing – so peaceful and professional, it was the perfect place to relax. Everything was clean, elegant, and beautifully looked after. Furthermore, the hotel is situated in the perfect location, right next to the beach and near popular tourist attractions! We left feeling refreshed and so grateful for the experience!

This hotel is in a fantastic location opposite the beach and centre of the city. The hotel staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful. A special shout out to Chama our housekeeping member of staff who was so accommodating and courteous! The buffet breakfast staff are also an asset to this hotel. My only negative for this hotel is that guests are allowed to smoke in the lobby. My family and I had a lovely time and will definitely come again!!

1. Cleaning comes in and locks your room even if you have the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door, they don’t care. It really bothered me how they clean the room even when you don’t want them to! I had to request a new keycard because mine didn’t work anymore after they entered my room. 2. AC is non-existent anywhere in the hotel, even if you set it to 15C, it doesn’t even cool the room to 20C, why control something such as this? If you want to turn off the AC in the lobby, I understand, but don’t you allow guests to have cold rooms at night? 3. Rooms do not have good noise isolation. 4. Smoking is allowed everywhere (even in the main lobby and hallways on the floors). This is a big no-no for people who have health issues or children, it smells like cigarettes everywhere. 5. There is no water sprayer even for a Muslim country, only a bidet which can be used on one toilet seat only. 6. I found hair on the shower door when I checked in. 7. There is no pool, it’s under construction. Overall, I think the hotel can do a lot better in terms of accommodating for all guests, not just people who are used to not washing after using the toilet and extremely hot weather everywhere they go. I can tell the hotel is serviced more towards Europeans, not Arabs or Muslims coming from other countries.
