Perfect Stay at KHAI Bodrum Hotel Our recent stay at KHAI Bodrum Hotel was nothing short of spectacular. The hotel's location is unbeatable, with the beach just a few steps away, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the stunning views and refreshing sea breeze. Breakfast was a delightful experience, offering a wide variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. We also had lunch at the hotel, and the food was amazing, showcasing the culinary excellence of the hotel's restaurant. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. From the reception to the manager, everyone was kind, generous, and always ready to assist. When our flight got delayed, they graciously extended our check-out time, ensuring we had a stress-free experience. The room service was impeccable, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was perfect. Waking up and walking to the beach was a dream come true, and the attentive staff made our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend KHAI Bodrum Hotel for anyone looking for a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and outstanding service.
Incredible! Every aspect of the experience was really incredible. This is one of the best, if not the best, holiday experiences I've had. Ahmet, the food and bev manager, told us on the first day, "here, we are a family, please relax and enjoy the place accordingly." Indeed we were made to feel welcome and appreciated as a "family". The food is world-class quality fine dining. I recommend you dine in-house at least a few nights to explore the menu options. The food is certainly not the cheapest, but the value, given the quality, is excellent. The staff were amazing with my kids, and not once did I feel awkward when they were not on their best behaviour. The location, beachfront setting, the grounds, and rooms are great too, but it was the staff who really made our stay perfect. A massive thank you to all.
We stayed here two years ago and I left a glowing 4-star review. Back then, the location was (and still is) fantastic, the architecture beautiful, the vibe just right, and we genuinely thought it was one of the best value-for-money hotels in the Turkish summer high season. Fast forward two years, and it feels like Khai is now conducting a bold social experiment titled *“How far can we push guests before they walk out?”* We arrived as a family of four, ready to enjoy a relaxing week. Instead, we have become accidental participants in a masterclass of service mismanagement. Let me be clear: the staff look busy, lots of people in crisp white shirts, a few in blue, all rushing about with a great sense of purpose, none of which seems to involve the guests. Breakfast is delicious, once it eventually appears. On both mornings so far, we sat for a solid 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged our existence. No greeting, no “someone will be with you shortly,” just the eerie sense that you are invisible. We had to literally flag someone down just to get the table cleaned. This morning, another family stood up and fetched their own cutlery. Efficient perhaps, but not quite what one expects from a four-star hotel. When a waiter finally arrives, ordering becomes a bit of a game. Ask for an Americano, receive a cappuccino. Ask for tea, receive an iced latte. Around 4pm, when most hotels would be eager to serve drinks or snacks to guests, Khai transforms into a rehearsal for some kind of table-moving performance. Dozens of staff rearrange furniture with great focus, while any attempt to place an order is met with polite indifference or total avoidance. Despite breakfast being included, we now go next door to Big Chefs for our coffee and breakfast. Peace and basic service, it turns out, are not part of the package at Khai. Hiring seasonal staff is not the issue. In fact, it is a good idea. The issue is throwing them onto the floor with no training, no coordination, and no one to guide them. If Khai wants to keep its four-star rating, I suggest bringing in an experienced floor manager who understands hospitality or, at the very least, notices when a guest is sitting without cutlery.
