I stayed here for 4 days and really loved it. My room was huge, clean, comfortable, and I had my own nice bathroom. It's beautiful, secluded, quiet, and the owners helped me book the overnight tour I wanted and transferred my luggage to the bus terminal the next day so I didn't have to go all the way back to the hotel before my transfer. They also have laundry service right on site. The cons are, they're not really close to anything so you'll have to walk about 15 minutes to get back to the main road area where everything is, and their restaurant doesn't have tofu so I didn't eat there (I don't eat meat). If you stay here I'd actually recommend a restaurant called Our Jungle Restaurant in the Our Jungle Resort 5 minutes away. It's the best food in the area, and then you don't have to walk too far into town in the heat.

I liked my stay at Blue Mountain. The room was nice and the view was amazing. It is a bit far from the center though, but totally possible to walk. It’s very quiet and I felt safe. Service was not very attentive though, there was barely any help or communication.

Me & my partner were looking to do the 2 day 1 night national park tour. We saw this place on agoda- for the price and for only 2 nights everything looked reasonable. Before booking we called the property to confirm they would be able to book the tour for us & provide all information for us which they said yes. We arrived the next day to resort to a young girl (owners daughter) who could not speak or understand any english - she called her dad& we had to communicate with him over the phone. We asked to see details of the tour. like a leaflet, she gave me a book which specifies the itinerary of the tour including a trek through namtalu cave. We was happy so asked to pay for the tour, they said they took card however we were told we needed to pay cash & go too the atm. Once we had paid i received a recipet however still had no information about the tour for us to read. Finally got showed to our room which was filled with dead ants & dust everywhere including on the bed. Finally got moved rooms, very basic, thin walls can hear everything from outside. Beds are actually very comfy which was great. Town is about a 15 minute walk, it’s nice & easy didn’t really bother us. At night time the owner & his friends sit in reception drinking & talking very loudly & comes across not very welcoming. Next morning was the tour, we said to reception we would need another night reserved for us & we will pay on arrival back from tour the following day. The tour itself was completely different to the itinerary they have at reception, pictures looked different and overall didn’t get what we paid for. we didn’t get to do the namtalu cave & no one said to us why, there was also a few of the tour guides that were extremely rude & hostile. While some of them were amazing unfortunately the behaviour of some of the others has ruined that. We arrived back from tour next day to which our bags were left out in reception for anybody to just take. The daughter is always sat on her phone which is rude & hadn’t reserved our stay. she called her dad & he said we could book our stay now and pay 800tbh which was more expensive than what i was being quoted on agoda which i explained to him however he told me to just “book it online”. went into our room for showers, the pressure is non existent and kept turning itself on and off mid shower. no fresh loo roll, just from what had been previously used from the last guests. I messaged the owner on agoda about the fact we didn’t get to go the cave & that other people on our tour had received a partial refund. He told us the cave was closed due too bad weather. If hw knew this why didn’t he tell us? we wouldn’t of done the tour otherwise as this was the main reason we did the tour. We paid same price for the tour even though there was part of it that wasnt included! He said he would not give us any money back & that we should bring the people who got a refund to them. super unprofessional! It was time for us to check out & i asked for a taxi to be booked for us, there was 2 other girls waiting for a taxi too. The male owner comes out shouting , aggressive body language to the women receptionist. Gives me an unpleasant look & not even a thankyou for your custom. Again- unprofessional. I was told 10 mins for a taxi as the other girls were getting in there’s. i was then told to get in the same car as the girls , the “taxi” was just a women who worked at the hotel driving in her car. Overall an extremely unpleasant stay. book with smiley or chillax instead. don’t waste your money.
